Critical Ambition is a brand new theatre company based out of the Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot areas.

We are devoted to the staging and developing of sophisticated theatre over a wide range of genre; be it new writing, devised, established plays or musical theatre. What is important to us; is that the work is entertaining, meaningful and accessible to all. 

 

Critical Ambition believe that Swansea, and the surrounding areas, are no longer a "graveyard of ambition". We believe that the former West Glamorgan region has much to offer an ever developing Welsh theatre scene. South Wales is increasingly becoming urbanised and post-modern; we hope to capture and share this new identity in our work. Thus, we are not only committed to the staging of productions in and about South Wales, but branching out to the UK as a whole.
